Hi,
Not that I am aware of. As far as I know the current FTA from 1985 is sufficient for both sides, however I imagine that sooner or later it will be revised. I understand that Canada is interested in negotiating an FTA (or revising a current FTA, I don't recall) with Israel presently.
Incidentally, if you will be in Israel for a while, I would like to invite you to visit with us in Jerusalem at the Ministry. We are currently considering reviving legislation to create a royalties tribunal and your experience could be of great assistance to us.

Thanks Howard. Can you tell me if there is a new trade agreement between Israel and the US? The USTR website suggests ongoing negotiations, but I wondered if it was up to date based on our conversation?
Many thanks
Susy

Susy: Should you have any further questions about the recent history of Israeli IP policy making, please feel free to contact me by email or visit with us when you will next be in Jerusalem.
