For the past few weeks we've been implementing some changes to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use agreements in an effort to better serve you and our growing user base. While we encourage you to read these documents in their entirety (here and here), the major differences are summarized for you below.
Terms of Use
Additional terms for Prezi for Teams accounts. If your license is part of a Prezi for Teams account, this new set of terms names the Team Administrator as the owner of that account, and subjects it to the terms and conditions agreed upon at the time of account setup. Why? Because centralizing ownership and control enables us to provide improved team personalization and better management of users and content.
Additional terms for Business accounts. If you signed up for a Prezi account with an e-mail address using a domain owned by an organization ([email protected]), this set of terms grants us permission to inform others within that same domain of your account. We've made this change in order to make it easier for you to share, collaborate and create relevant content with others in your business. Note: this change is dependent on your location, so be sure to check out the full Terms of Use document for additional details.
Privacy
Updated use and sharing of information practices. In addition to sharing your public information to provide better products and services, we might share your public prezis with other Prezi users who we think might be interested, including those within your organization. This will enable us to facilitate collaboration between Teams users and individual Business users, as well as increase awareness and share-ability of the great content you create.
