Kindly save the date for the 3rd International Symposium on Fisheries Crime taking place on 25-26 September 2017 in Vienna, Austria. This year's Symposium focuses on the transnational nature of fisheries crime. During the Symposium, participants will discuss best approaches, practical tools and available mechanisms to tackle the various types of crime in the fisheries sector.
UNODC will co-organize this year's Symposium in partnership with the Government of Indonesia, the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, INTERPOL, the Nordic Council of Ministers, the North-Atlantic Fisheries Intelligence Group and the PescaDOLUS Network.

Please also note that the INTERPOL Fisheries Crime Working Group will have its meeting on 27-29 September and PescaDOLUS will be hosting its first Fisheries Crime Research Workshop on 27 September, both at the same venue.
