280 soldiers of the IDF in the military exercise Allied spirit X in Hohenfels Army Base from 27.03.2019 to 16.04.2019, has the honour to communicate the following:

Regarding the IDF military personnel who will participate in the planned exercise Allied spirit X in 27.03.2019 to 16.04.2019

The Government of Israel will not assert the rights that would usually apply to closed

formations of foreign armed forces under international law. For the IDF military personnel

who will participate in the above-mentioned exercise, the Government of Israel hereby declares

a unilateral waiver of immunity which is irrevocable and binding under international law.

לקראת תרגיל צבאי רב-לאומי אשר צפוי להתקיים בגרמניה בהמשך החודש בהשתתפות חיל האוויר, הגיעה אלינו בקשה באמצעות הנספחות הצבאית בברלין, לחתימה על כתב ויתור על חסינות לקראת ההשתתפות בתרגיל.

 

כמובן שמדובר בבקשה חריגה למיטב ידיעתנו, והועברה הנחיה שלא לפעול לחתימה עד להשלמת בחינת הנושא.
