National Revival in the Shadow of European Unity: The "Spring of Nations" after the Congress of Vienna and the Relation between National Movements in Europe and the EU Today

The aim of this workshop is to study multilateral European agreements and upheavals by considering their early stages, rooted in the Vienna Congress and the Spring of Nations, as well as the role of the European Union in responding to the challenges posed to European unity today. The workshop is held on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Congress of Vienna.

In the academic year 2011/12 the European Forum launched a new departmental seminar, open to all PhD and MA students who are currently working on their thesis. The purpose of this seminar is to offer an opportunity to get to know the other students at the Forum and their research topics. It is intended to provide support during the research process and a friendly environment in which research projects can be presented and questions and problems can be raised. Read more
