^NEW Practical Workshop for Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities

Following up on the first Practical Workshop that took place in December 2013, a Practical Workshop for Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore, will be organized by WIPO in Geneva, from December 3 to 5, 2014.

Participants will be selected as a result of an application process.

^NEW 2015 Indigenous Fellowship Program

Within the framework of the WIPO Indigenous Fellowship Program, the WIPO Secretariat will soon initiate the selection process of a new WIPO Indigenous Fellow for one year, renewable once for another year, to start in February 2015.

As the Practical Workshop and the Indigenous Fellowship Program constitute two different activities that are submitted to two selection processes and are subject to two different sets of conditions, applicants who would be interested in both are kindly requested to send in two different applications.
