Subject: Task 20042: TAIEX assistance for a multi-beneficiary workshop on Economic Crimes
Dear all,
TAIEX and EUROPOL are organising a multi-beneficiary workshop on Economic Crimes, to be held in The Hague on October 14-16 (please see attached draft programme). I would kindly ask you to identify five relevant participants by September 20 for this seminar in accordance with the following requirements:
The conference revolves around four of Europol's so called Focal Points (FP): Copy, MTIC, Smoke, and Soya. These FP are aimed at combating criminality within Europol's mandate associated with the activities of organised crime networks engaged in:
FP Copy:
FP MTIC:
FP Smoke:
FP Soya:
You will gather from the programme that participants will be split into different simultaneous workshops during the conference. In order to warrant the success of the conference it is therefore very important to ensure participation of one participant for each of the four Focal Points, from each beneficiary, even if some experts might cover several or even all crimes listed above in one unit.
In addition, we would like for one public prosecutor to be identified who is involved in the investigation and prosecution of the above mentioned crimes - preferably equipped with the necessary international experience.
The workshop will be held in English and that no interpretation will be provided. Experts are expected to be sufficiently fluent in the conference language and to actively participate in the workshops on the given topics.
Please note that I would need both the attached 'registration tool' and the 'accommodation travel list' returned to me. Participants are invited to join a dinner hosted by Europol on 15 October. We would be grateful if they could indicate whether they would like to participate.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments related to this event.
Kind regards,
Daniel Rackowski
