במסגרת ההכנה לתת-הוועדה בשבוע הבא נתבקשנו לעדכן את האירופים על שינויי חקיקה ומדיניות מרכזיים שחלו בשנתיים האחרונות.
זכור לי שהזכרתן שהיה שינוי חוק מאד משמעותי שהיה קשור לאיסור בנוגע לחומרי בסיס

אשמח לשמוע אם לדעתכן אכן מדובר בנושא שכדאי לעדכן בו את האירופים, ואם כן, אודה אם תוכלו להעביר לנו פסקה על כך, רצוי באנגלית, וכן אם יש עדכונים נוספים שיכולים להיות רלוונטיים לדעתכן.

בעצם שמו של מרכז הטיפול שהוזכר בשורה לפני (כפר איזון – Harmony Village) – כלומר, הכוונה
הינה למרכז טיפול אשר מיועד לתרמילאים ונוער שאינם מכורים לסמים אבל סובלים מנזקים כתוצאה משימוש בסמים, במקרים רבים כתוצאה משימוש בזמן טיול בחו"ל.

כנראה שאי-ההבנה נובעת מכך שלא הזכרנו את השם לפני, אז ראי תיקון למטה.

אנחנו עוברות על החומרים ושוב ושוב מאד מתרשמות מהעבודה המדהימה שאתם עושים ברשות, יהיה תענוג להציג את הדברים בבריסל.







נשמח לקבל הבהרה לגבי עניין אחד שמופיע בטקסט בנושא מזעור הנזק: באחת הפסקאות יש התייחסות ל-village
שלא נזכר בטקסט לפניכן, ונראה שלפי הקונטקסט הנושא דורש קצת רקע, או פירוט שאולי הושמט בטעות (מסומן כאן בהמשך). נודה מאד לקבלת התייחסותכן.

A well-coordinated infrastructure allows us to provide a continuum of prevention
and treatment services to drug abuse victims and their families. The comprehensive treatment system of pharmacological and psychosocial interventions provide a wide array of treatment solutions addressing the different needs of individuals based on gender,
age, and cultural and religious background, in order to ensure accessibility to all.
Addicts and substance abusers who seek treatment are referred to the type of program to which they will be most compatible with based on personality, cultural considerations, substance abuse situation and prior treatment experiences. Among
the solutions are physical detoxification, therapeutic communities, day-care centers, individual and group treatment sessions, family intervention, and rehabilitation, involving legal counseling, assistance with housing, studies, vocational rehabilitation
and follow-up counseling. Facilities catering for women patients include all women staff, and a therapeutic community offers treatment for mothers with children. A special therapeutic community,
Harmony Village, addresses the specific needs of young adults, particularly those returning from backpacking excursions, suffering from
mental imbalance due to hallucinogenic or mind-altering drugs. The village is internationally recognized as a unique center for non-addicts, specifically dedicated to the recovery and rehabilitation of youths. Furthermore, recognizing
the individual cultural background of addicts, unique programs are offered for immigrants from the former Soviet Union and for the Arab population, taking into account language and cultural considerations. Special attention is given to drug abuse victims suffering
from co-morbidity.
