Dear Heads of FIUs,
Following our today's email (see below), we have noticed that the EBC 2021 questionnaire form provided to you has some technical issues not allowing to tick the boxes properly.
We have corrected the form so that you now can do it easily by ticking the relevant box (see attached). Please use the attached questionnaire form to provide your answer.
We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
As indicated earlier, we expect your submissions by the 16th of March 2020, the latest.
Thank you and kind regards,
Egmont Group Secretariat
Dear Heads of FIUs,
We hope this email finds you well.
We would like to kindly remind you that during the Egmont Group Plenary meeting in the Hague (July 2019), the Plenary agreed on the action plan and the timeline proposed by the EC Information Management Reference Group for the general overhaul of the Egmont Biennial Census in preparation for the next iteration of this exercise in 2021.
This overhaul process is expected to investigate whether the EBC still meets the needs of the EG members, whether this extensive data collection exercise can be aligned with other processes that FIUs are expected to provide data for (e.g. mutual evaluation processes, annual reports, etc.), and to create an efficient, user-friendly and less time-consuming exercise in 2021.
In line with the agreed action plan and the timelines for the EBC 2021 Overhaul, the Project team (consisting of the EC Information Management Reference Group members and the Egmont Group Secretariat) have prepared a brief questionnaire that seeks to collect members’ experience with completing the EBC 2019 and gather additional information needs and feedback on the optimal strategic framework for the EBC 2021.
The project team will then evaluate the responses received and will start drafting the new framework for the EBC 2021 including the scope, frequency, IT infrastructure, etc. for further EC consideration and endorsement.
In order to move forward with this very important process, you are kindly requested to complete the attached questionnaire and submit it to the Egmont Group Secretariat by the 16th of March 2020.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Andrey Frolov, Senior Officer at the Egmont Group Secretariat via email at Andrey.Frolov@Egmont.org (or open email at andrey.frolov@egmontsecretariat.org).
Thank you for your cooperation.
Kind regards,
Egmont Group Secretariat
