Letter to all IEWG members:
Dear IEWG members,
As you are aware, during the meeting in Sydney 2018, IEWG approved a Concept Note and included in its Business Plan the following new project: FIU-Customs Cooperation Handbook.
The project team is formed by FIU Hungary, FIU Denmark, and FIU Germany, supported by the World Customs Organization and the Wolfsberg Group. The main objective of the project is to foster the cooperation between FIUs and customs authorities by drafting a FIU-Customs Cooperation Handbook. The Handbook should serve as a tool and guidance for all FIUs customs services in their common work targeting money laundering of illicit funds in the customs sector.
In order to obtain input data for further analysis hereby we kindly request you to fill in the following questionnaire (attached) and send it back to FIU Hungary (and cc-ing the Egmont Secretariat to the following email address: nedko.krumov@egmont.org and sergey.sarakvashin@egmont.org) via ESW no later than 12 December 2018.
