We can now confirm that the signed MOU is in the hands of the Israeli Embassy in Guatemala, and the Deputy Ambassador will ensure that they are sent to the SBI today.
If for whatever reason the documents do not arrive in the next coming days it is preferable if you can please be in touch with me directly so I can assist: ilanitg@justice.gov.il.
Otherwise you can attempt to contact the Consul herself, at the following contact details: Naama Levy, Deputy Ambassador and Consul, consul@guatemala.mfa.gov.il, 502-2333-4624
Please inform us as soon as you have received the documents.
Thank you and looking forward to completing the signing of the MOU with IVE-Guatemala

Dear Colleagues,
We would like to inform you that we have sent two original copies of the MOU signed by the head of IMPA, Dr. Shlomit Wagman to you.
We have sent these via the diplomatic channel, as opposed to mail courier, as this is the customary and secure way for us to send official state documents.
Please let us know once you have received the original documents.
We kindly request that you send back to us one of the original documents once Mr. Saulo De León Durán has added his signature and date of signature.
We would like to reiterate that we are very pleased to be signing this MOU with IVE-Guatemala and look forward to much fruitful cooperation.
Warm regards,
Ilanit Greenwald

Dear Colleagues,
We are very glad to hear the draft is approved by you, and that we have agreed upon the final text.
In that case we will be very pleased to coordinate the signing of the MOU.
In light of the pandemic and travel restrictions, we suggest sharing signed copies of the MOU through the ESW, which in our experience has proven to be successful.
Thus, we will send you a copy of the MOU with Dr. Wagman's signature, and will be happy if you could print it out and then add the signature of Mr. Saulo De Leon Duran, and send us back a copy with both signatures.
If in addition you require an original copy of the signed MOU we can arrange to send it to you through the diplomatic channel.
If this is acceptable to you we will be happy to finalize the particular date for the signature. We would like to suggest Thursday, May 13,2021 so long as this is a possibility for you. We have attached the edited draft accordingly.
Kind regards,
Ilanit
