Dear colleagues,

Thank you very much for your request.

Based on the art. 24 of the Law 1024/2000 on citizenship in the Republic of Moldova is allowed the plurality of citizenships of other jurisdictions. Furthermore, there are no obligations of Moldovan citizens to official declare additional obtained citizenship of another state.

Nevertheless, the information on existing citizenships is available to the FIU if the person is passing Moldovan State Border using the passport of another jurisdiction.

Taking into consideration expressed interest, could you please describe your ability to provide such kind of information in respect of your citizens?

If you have any additional questions or clarifications please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

FIU Moldova

Dear colleagues,

In the course of our current work of analysing the implications of economic citizenship programs, we would be grateful if you let us know whether in response to an incoming information request, your FIU is able to identify and convey that a citizen of your jurisdiction has received citizenship as part of an Economic Citizenship program.

Kind regards,
