Dear colleagues,
We, in the Secretariat, are really looking forward for the upcoming Egmont Group Working Group meetings in Jakarta (January 2019).
With the current letter we would like to kindly inform you that you will again have at your disposal bilateral meeting rooms in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel (Jakarta). As you may recall, such bilateral meeting rooms were for the first time available during the meeting in Buenos Aires (March 2018) and subsequently, during the Plenary meeting in Sydney (September 2018). Their main purpose is to facilitate the bilateral cooperation between FIUs during the Egmont Group events.
In the recent past, the Egmont Group Secretariat has observed that these ad hoc bilateral exchanges were often conducted in public areas. The bilateral meeting rooms are now providing FIUs with privacy and discretion in order to facilitate their cooperation.
As you also may recall there is a special form elaborated to help this exchange for operational cases (please see attached).
The bilateral meeting rooms are located in the Ritz-Carlton hotel (Mutiara 6 & 7), Level 2.
If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to address the Secretariat or any member of the host team.
