Dear colleagues
Firstly, I wanted to thank Lindsey for being such a wonderful colleague, both as Head of the Isle of Man FIU, as well as my neighbour and ally in the Egmont Committee. Lindsey has represented the interests of our members in an outstanding manner, and has contributed significantly to the success of the Egmont Group. She had the lead in various, often complex, Egmont initiatives, such as the relocation of the Secretariat.
As you know (the roots!) I also decided to leave the Liechtenstein FIU, but I will move to MROS, another Europe II member. Since Switzerland is not a Moneyval member, a new Moneyval Chair will have to be elected in July. This circumstance, and the need for some continuity in the Egmont Committee, allows me to offer that I will stay in my position as regional representative for Europe II for a second (and definitely last) term, of course only if you wish me to do so. For that reason, I will consider submitting a candidacy to remain regional representative for another 2 year period.

The Egmont Group will select new Regional Representatives during the upcoming 26th Plenary in The Hague, the Netherlands (July 2019).
On April 1st, 2019, the Executive Secretary launched a call for nominations for eligible candidates, which is available for download on the Spotlight section of the ESW Home Community, and is also attached to this communication.
Please send nominations to the Executive Secretary of the Egmont Group, through Egmont Secure Web, at jerome.beaumont@egmont.org. The deadline for nominations is Monday, May 13th, 2019 (COB Toronto time).
