Dear Heads of FIU,

 

We hope you are well and healthy!

 

Please find attached the public list of TBML risk indicators resulting from the Information Exchange Working Group (IEWG) project on Conclusions from Large-Scale, Cross-Border ML Schemes, which is undertaken as part of the work within the IEWG Stream 1 (Promotion, Support and Facilitation of Bilateral and Multilateral Exchange of Financial Intelligence and Strategic Information). Currently, we are following the decisions taken by the HoFIU with regard to the joint FATF/Egmont TBML report to continue working jointly with the FATF in order to develop the public list of TBML risk indicators. You were continuously informed about the results if this cooperation and already approved several products, including the joint TBML report.


The current public list of TBML risk indicators was already discussed and approved by IEWG in an out-of-session procedure.


You are kindly asked to endorse this product out-of-session. Should you decide to endorse the attached list of TBML risk indicators, it will be made available to the general public and will be uploaded to the Egmont Group and FATF websites. You are therefore invited to provide your endorsement and/or comments by February 18th, 2021. As usual, a non-response will be considered as a tacit approval of the attached list of indicators.
