Dear Members of Europe II Regional Group,

I hope this message find you well and safe.

On October 07th, consistent with the provisions of paragraphs 19-onward of the Voting rules for the selection of Regional Representatives (attached), you have been invited to cast your vote for the selection of Ms. Astghik Karamanukyan, the Deputy Head of the Financial Monitoring Center of the Central Bank of Armenia (FMC) for the position of Egmont Group Europe II Regional Representative. The deadline for sending the ballots with your votes was October 14.

Please find below the results of the election process, based on the ballot count conducted by the EGS (para 27):

  • 23 - Total members in the Regional Group
  • 14 - Total number of ballots sent to the EGS
  • 0 - Total number of invalid ballots
  • 2 - Abstains from voting
  • 7 – members did not send their vote

 

  • 12 - Votes in favor of selecting Ms. Astghik Karamanukyan as Regional Representative for Europe II
  • 2 - Votes against the selection Ms. Astghik Karamanukyan as Regional Representative for Europe II.

I take this opportunity to congratulate the Regional Group for the selection. Consistent with the Voting Rules, the selection of Ms. Astghik Karamanukyan as Regional Representative for Europe II will be presented to the Egmont Committee for endorsement.  After endorsement she will then join Ms. Oxana Gisca as the two Regional Representatives for Europe II.
