Dear FIU Colleagues:

I hope that you, your families, and your colleagues are safe and well.  After serving as the Director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network since December 2017, it is time for me to say farewell.  April 9, 2021 is my last day at the bureau. 

Serving as the eighth Director of FinCEN has been a privilege and an honor.  I am pleased to announce that Michael Mosier, current Counselor to the Deputy Secretary and former Deputy Director, will return to FinCEN to serve as Acting Director on April 12.  AnnaLou Tirol, former Associate Director for the Strategic Operations Division, is now serving as Deputy Director.  

I want to thank you personally for your continued partnership and collaboration.  The tireless work and commitment of The Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units safeguards national security and the global financial system, protects communities around the world, and saves lives.
