In view of the recent pandemic of COVID-19, the President of the Republic of El Salvador has officially announced the practice of home quarantine and social distancing between society to stop the spread of the virus and mitigate its impact. In this sense, government institutions, including FIU El Salvador, are currently implementing the "Work from home" policy within the period of March 21 to April 21, 2020. This policy may cause delays in relation to the exchange of information. between FIU and other financial intelligence units.
