Dear Heads of Egmont Group FIUs,
We hope this email finds you well and healthy.
Despite the current uncertain situation due to the pandemic, it is paramount to continue planning future EG events, in order to avoid a situation where the pandemic is over and the EG has no hosts for its events. Planning and preparing an EG event usually takes one and a half years to two years.
We are pleased to announce that FIU Latvia has offered to organize the 28th Egmont Group Plenary, which is expected to take place in the summer of 2022. The confirmation letter from FIU Latvia is enclosed herewith for your reference. The proposal of FIU Latvia has been considered and welcomed by the Egmont Committee.
