**Letter to all IEWG members**


Dear IEWG members,

We hope this email finds you well.

As you may know, given the need to fill the two (2) vacant Vice-Chair positions in the Information Exchange Working Group, the Executive Secretary launched the call for nominations in the ESW on 10 January 2021, requesting the Heads of FIU to send nominations by 22 February 2021.

Within the deadline provided, the Executive Secretary received the following four (4) nominations:


·       Mr. Muhammad Jiya, the Associate Director of Analysis and Compliance of FIU Nigeria

·       Ms. Mary Chirwa, Director General, FIU of Zambia

·       Mr. Oscar Gabriel Calvillo Salguero, the Director of the Administrative, Strategic Analysis and IT Department of the Special Verification Intendancy of FIU Guatemala

·       Dr. Nakampe Michael Masiapato, the Executive Manager of the Monitoring and Analysis Division, FIU of South Africa


To guide you through the election process, we are attaching the MEMO outlining the next steps in the process under the applicable provisions.

Please read carefully the attached MEMO as well as the nominations and the PPTs of Intent and kindly share your views and any other potential concerns or objections by email with the rest of IEWG members through the ESW by Monday, 22 March 2021.
