Dear Heads of the Egmont Group FIUs,

We hope this email finds you well.

Willing to continue and strengthen its collaboration with the Egmont Group (EG), Rosfinmonitoring decided to second a new specialist to the Egmont Group Secretariat (EGS), further to the comeback to Russia of the previous secondee, following the relocation of the EGS from Toronto to Ottawa. Based on the authority granted by the EG Charter (section 6.6-C), the Executive Secretary has been working with Rosfinmonitoring on the terms of the secondment. 

Please find attached for your consideration the draft Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) signed by the HoFIU Russia, which follows the same terms of the previous MoU with Rosfinmonitoring endorsed by the HoFIUs in August 2017. The document has been approved by the Egmont Committee.

If you have any comments to the document please send them via ESW to secretariat@egmont.org before Wednesday, October 23rd. If no opposition by the indicated deadline, the Executive Secretary will sign and start implementing the MOU.
