The purpose of this email is to seek for your approval on the new governance structure of the Egmont Center of FIU Excellence and Leadership (ECOFEL), which is part of the Egmont Group Secretariat (EGS). The memo attached describes areas for improvement in ECOFEL’s governance structure and proposes solution to ensure efficiency while avoiding duplication and confusion. The new ECOFEL governance structure will upgrade ECOFEL to an operational arm of the Egmont Working Groups, assuring that results and input of all Working Groups will lead to the innovative approaches that can be uniquely delivered by the EG. A new draft ECOFEL Terms of Reference (TOR) has also been attached to this email. The new ECOFEL TOR have been reviewed and approved by: - The ECOFEL donors - The Egmont Committee (EC) - The ECOFEL Program Team (EPT) - The TATWG members
