We are pleased to announce that Ms. Sarah Paquet has been appointed as Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), effective November 18th, 2020.

Ms. Paquet has served in a number of senior positions within the Canadian federal government, most recently as the Executive Vice-President at Shared Services Canada, where she led the modernization of the Government of Canada’s enterprise IT infrastructure and digital services across the federal government. She also has extensive experience in regulatory agencies, including Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.  A copy of Ms. Paquet’s biography is attached for your information.

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer la nomination de Mme Sarah Paquet au poste de directrice et présidente-directrice générale du Centre d’analyse des opérations et déclarations financières du Canada (CANAFE) à compter du 18 novembre 2020.

Mme Paquet a occupé plusieurs postes de direction au sein de la fonction publique fédérale. Elle assumait jusqu'à tout récemment les fonctions de première vice-présidente à Services partagés Canada, où elle a dirigé la modernisation de l’infrastructure des TI et des services numériques de l’ensemble du gouvernement fédéral. Elle possède une vaste expérience au sein d'organismes de réglementation, notamment Santé Canada et l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments.
