Members of the Europe II Regional Group,

 

We trust you are well.

 

As you are already aware the Egmont Group will select new Regional Representatives during the upcoming 26th EG Plenary in The Hague, the Netherlands.

 

Consistent with the procedures in place (available attached), on April 1st, 2019, we launched a call for nomination for the two Regional Representative positions available for Europe II Regional Group. We are happy to announce that during the 6 week nomination interval, two colleagues from Europe II Regional Group submitted written nominations expressing the desire and suitability to be considered for the post:

  • Mr. Daniel THELESKLAF, Head of FIU Liechtenstein (before August 1st) and Head of the Swiss FIU (after August 1st) - both members of EUROPE II, and
  • Mr. Philippe BOISBOUVIER, Head of FIU Monaco,

You may find attached the written nominations, confirming also that there are sufficient resources in their “home” FIU to enable the nominees to satisfy the roles and responsibilities of the post.  

 

Please note that the two nominations will be considered during the Europe II meeting in The Hague (Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019) and the two Regional Representatives selected by the Regional Group will be presented to the HoFIU for endorsement later that week.
