Dear members of the Egmont Group,
The Egmont Group Secretariat would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Indonesian Financial Transaction and Report Analysis Centre (PPATK) on the passing of their Head of FIU, Pak Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin.
Pak Badar’s dedication and contribution to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing efforts at both national and international levels was clear. Pak Badar was truly a leader in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.
The Egmont Group and EGS will always remember the warm hospitality and hard work of Pak Badar during the Egmont Group Working Group meetings held in Jakarta in January of 2019.
The Egmont Group stands by PPATK during this sad time. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are also with Pak Badar’s family.
