Letter to all IEWG members


Dear IEWG members,


We hope this letter finds you well.

Please see attached the latest version of the IEWG agenda. There are some minimal changes reflecting the sidebar meetings that will take place on Sunday, June 30th.


We would like to also use the opportunity to inform you about the content of the sidebar meetings which will take place on Sunday, June 30th between 09:00 and 13:00, namely:

  • The first sidebar meeting (from 09:00 to 10:00) will be dedicated to one of the IEWG new project proposal - "Cybercrime Risk and FinTech" and will take place in room Murray (level 1). All interested FIUs and Observers are invited to attend.
  • The second sidebar meeting (between 10:00 and 11:00) will be dedicated to one of the ongoing IEWG projects - "Typologies of corruption" (in the agenda is reflected with the title of the report "Egmont Group Report on FIU Tools and Practices for Investigating Corruption Cases") and will take place in room Africa (Ground floor). All interested FIUs and Observers are invited to attend.
  • The third sidebar meeting (from 11:00 to 12:00) will be dedicated to one of the potential new projects in the IEWG on Asset Recovery, and will be a discussion aiming at collecting of ideas and scoping this work. It will take place in room Murray (level 1). All interested FIUs and Observers are invited to attend.
  • The forth sidebar meeting will be for the IEWG ongoing project on "Typologies of corruption" but this time it is dedicated only for project team members.
