Please be advised that Arakel Meliksetyan, the Deputy Director of the FMC and Ani Goyunyan, the Head of the International Relations Division will attend the EUROPE II Regional meeting to be held on December 4, 2019 in Strasbourg.
On a related note, please add under Item 5 of the draft agenda an additional bullet reading “Update related to the matter under Procedural Trigger 1 of the Support and Compliance Process” to reflect on the issue that has immediate nexus to this regional group.

Dear Europe II members,
We hope this email finds you well!
As agreed during our last regional meeting in The Hague (July 2019), the next EUROPE II Regional meeting will take place during the MONEYVAL Plenary week in December, 2019. More precisely the EUROPE II Regional meeting will take place on December 4th, between 6 pm and 7:30 pm in Strasbourg, France in the building of the Council of Europe (Palais Building, Room 2) but as usual will be a separate event from the MONEYVAL Plenary. Please see attached the draft agenda for our meeting.
In order to organize the EUROPE II Regional meeting, we need to know how many FIUs will be able to come to Strasbourg on December 4th, and the names of the delegates that will attend the meeting. In this regard we will be happy if you can inform us by giving the names of the delegates by November 20th.
Since the EUROPE II meeting is not an official one for the CoE calendar, no separate badges can be issued for the participants in order to access the Palais Building. Therefore, all participants in the EUROPE II meeting are kindly invited to register themselves for the MONEYVAL Plenary meeting. This is how they will receive access to the building of the CoE. In this regard, it was suggested by our colleagues from the CoE that the representatives from FIU Switzerland and FIU Turkey register themselves as observers for that day (Wednesday, December 4th) for the MONEYVAL Plenary, so that they will be able to be provided with a badge at the entrance. The representatives from FIU Kosovo are kindly invited to get a day-badge through the liaison office of Kosovo to the Council of Europe.
