Dear Heads of FIUs,

We trust you are well.

As our organization is going to select new Chairs and Vice Chairs of Working Groups during the next Egmont Group (EG) Meetings in Mauritius (January 27-30, 2020). The Executive Secretary launched a call for nominations for eligible candidates on September 20, 2019 for following positions:

The positions are open to any Head of FIU, or a suitable senior representative, from the member FIUs. Interested candidates are invited to submit a written nomination, in the form of a letter, indicating the desired position and the specific Working Group for which they apply. The letter should contain a written commitment confirming there are sufficient resources in the candidate’s FIU to enable him/her to satisfy the role and responsibilities of the post.

In instances where an application is being made by a suitable senior FIU representative rather than a Head of FIU, the nomination must be sent in writing from their Head of FIU and must explain clearly how the candidate belongs to the leadership of the FIU and how s/he is suitable for the post.

The call for nominations for eligible candidates is posted on the Spotlight section of ESW, and on the respective Working Group community pages.

Please send nominations to the Executive Secretary of the Egmont Group, through Egmont Secure Web, at jerome.beaumont@egmont.org. The deadline for nominations is Friday, December 6, 2019 (COB Ottawa time).

Please see attached the Call for nominations, as well as Voting Rules for the Election WG Chairs and Vice-Chairs, and the Description and Mandates of Egmont Working Groups.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Egmont Group Secretariat
