Dear Egmont Group colleagues,
Please find attached your customized install guide to the new ESW system specific for your account using this secure e-mail address. This is also a reminder e-mail of the new ESW’s upcoming release on
November 9th, 2020.
Please have your IT staff or installer review the guide. If you have questions, please respond to Egmont Support by replying to this e-mail.
NOTE: FIUs cannot start the install process UNTIL the system is formally released
on November 9th, 2020. When the new ESW system becomes available you will be able to begin your FIU’s migration activities.
NOTE: The weekend prior to release date (starting Friday, November 6th, 2pm EST to Monday’s release date), the legacy ESW
web services will NOT BE AVAILABLE to allow data migration activities to occur.
It is requested that once each of your FIU’s new account installations are complete that you notify Egmont Support with an ESW
signed and encrypted e-mail as soon as possible.
Please refer to the original pre-release announcement sent on October 26th attached to this e-mail regarding the permanent shutdown of legacy web services and a 4 week availability of legacy secure e-mail services (Thunderbird).
Egmont Support is always available for questions using the current ESW secure e-mail system. We ask that members
please use the ESW secure e-mail system in lieu of public e-mails for specific detailed questions and communications regarding the migration effort to protect ESW privacy and its members.
