On behalf of Mr. Phil Hunkin, Vice Chair of Technical Assistance and Training Working Group and BECA Champion, the Egmont Secretariat takes great pleasure in circulating the call letter of 2019 Best Egmont Case Award (BECA) which will be awarded in 26th Egmont
Group Plenary. You are encouraged to participate by entering a case into the BECA competition this year.
In addition to BECA competition, the Stolen Asset Recovery (StAR) Initiative also provides additional recognition of a case submitted in the BECA competition to award an outstanding case that demonstrates multi-jurisdictional cooperation in a case involving corruption that led to successful asset recovery.
