Meeting Participation

A variety of meetings are planned throughout the four days, from Monday 1 July to Thursday 4 July 2019.

The Egmont Committee (EC) members are invited to attend EC Meetings on Sunday 30 June, as well as on Friday 5 July.

There are also IEWG Projects’ Side Meetings (subject to separate invitation by the IEWG) as well as an IEWG/IT Professionals Meeting scheduled for the morning and afternoon of Sunday 30 June.

For the purpose of facilitating more cooperation among members, two Bilateral Operational Meeting Rooms with a capacity of 8 people each are available for various bilateral or projects meetings on Sunday to Thursday 30 June – 4 July 2019. Please contact the Egmont Group Secretariat at mail@egmontsecretariat.org to book rooms for your meetings.

For all participants, please refer to the draft program carefully in order to identify the meetings that you would like to attend. More information regarding main topics of meetings will announced later. The usual practice of seating one representative per FIU/organization at the table will apply in all the meetings.

Registration

Each delegate is requested to complete an online registration, as soon as possible, and before Friday 31 May 2019. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The online registration system is open now and can be accessed at http://www.cvent.com/d/96q2x7.

We suggest that you use the same email address as it was used in other Egmont events in order to easily upload previously inputted information. If you have a new email address or are a first-time attendee, you will need to provide your information in order to register.

The email address you fill out in the registration system will be used for OnArrival checkin at the Egmont Plenary Meeting.

VISA to the Netherlands

It is the responsibility of all delegates to obtain a valid entry permission to enter the Netherlands, if required.

Please refer to Annex 1 of the General Information Document to find out if you need a visa to go to the Netherlands and/or check this at the following link:

https://www.netherlandsandyou.nl/travel-and-residence/visas-for-the-netherlands/short-stay-schengen-visa .

If a VISA is required, it is recommended to submit the visa application at your earliest convenience as the processing time may take at least 23 weeks. Secondly, for some embassies/consulates the appointment system may be fully booked, especially during the summer period. A visa can be applied for 3 months before the scheduled day of departure.

Please refer to Page 5 of the General Information Document for more information.

If you have any questions regarding visas, please feel free to contact FIU-the Netherlands at MailboxFIUBeleid@klpd.politie.nl for visa assistance.

Documents

Documents for the meetings will be accessible by clicking the link on the “Spotlight” section on the homepage of the Egmont Secure Web prior to the event. Please ensure that delegates print the documents and bring them to the Meetings. No photocopies will be available at the meeting rooms.

Should you require further information or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Egmont Group Secretariat via email at mail@egmontsecretariat.org.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Jérôme BEAUMONT

Executive Secretary
