Dear members of the EUROPE II Region,
We trust all is well!
Following the research and work of the PPWG, the EGS is beginning a project to translate some core EG documents and Operational Reports.
The first batch of documents we will work on are:
1. The Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units Charter
2. The EG Principles for Information Exchange between FIUs
3. The Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units Operational Guidance
4. The Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units Support and Compliance Process
5. Concealment of Beneficial Ownership
To help us understand which languages these documents need to be translated into can you please respond to the following questions:
Questions:
• Has your FIU translated any of the documents listed above?
• If so, into what language/s?
• If so, please send the EGS a copy of the translated document by Friday 7, December 2018, so we can confirm whether or not is it the latest version of the document.
• Does your FIU have the capacity and resource to translate any of the documents listed above?
• Does your FIU have any recommendation of translation agencies that are familiar with the AML/CFT environment?
