Dear HoFIU,

 

I trust you are well!

Following the IEWG virtual meetings on June 29th, when the working group discussed and approved all final products prepared within the IEWG project on eCatalogue on Regulated VASPs, I would like to present to your attention these products for an out-of-session approval.

 

Such an eCatalogue will serve as a reference for FIUs to harness to know what information can be obtained from particular VASPs and whether postponement/freezing of transactions is possible. If maintained/kept up-to-date, it will significantly increase the effectiveness of financial investigations involving VAs for the global AML/CTF community of practice. More information about the purpose of this eCatalogue, its dissemination and updating strategies are provided in the attached Memorandum.

 

You are kindly asked to endorse this product out-of-session by August 13th, 2021 (Friday). As usual, a non-response will be considered as tacit approval of the attached eCatalogue, all other products delivered within the project, the requested dissemination and updating strategies.
