Dear Colleagues,

 

Due to the exceptional circumstances caused by the COVID-19 virus which has led to many FIUs encouraging their staff to work remotely, the EGS wanted to remind you of the ECOFEL resources and the EG training packages and reports available on the ESW.


ECOFEL:

The ECOFEL eLearning platform equally presents highly valuable resources for all FIU staff. Notably, the eLearning platform offers eLearning courses including the eCorFin and the newly launched FIU Operational Independence and Autonomy courses. Upon completion of ECOFEL and LinkedIn Learning courses available through ECOFEL’s eLearning platform, users will receive a completion certificate.

Through the ECOFEL platform, FIU staff can also access LinkedIn Learning courses. LinkedIn Learning hosts almost 16000 e-courses that we believe will help FIU staff enhance their skills and knowledge.

Additional information and functionalities of the ECOFEL eLearning Platform:

  • "Channels" functionality: contain videos, reports, handbooks produced by the EG, FATF, FSRBs, FIUs and other international partners;
  • “Channels” theme: e.g. illegal wildlife trade, politically exposed persons, corruption, terrorist financing, virtual currencies, supervision
  • LinkedIn Learning courses categorized into curated content;
    • Curated content breakdown by sub‑catalogues: "Data management", "Network and Info Security", "Human Resources", "Communication", "Leadership", "Project Management", "Data Analytics", "Security Management", "Public Relations", "Strategic Planning".
  • Example of courses: Blockchain basics & beyond, Cryptocurrencies, Bitcoins.

 

ESW Resources:

It is important to note that HoFIU must use their discretion when sharing content with their staff and should remind staff that many of these resources are for FIU-use only. As such, we encourage you to share these resources through closed, secure channels available to the FIU staff.
