**Letter to all IEWG Members**
Dear IEWG Members,
We trust this email finds you well!
We want to address you regarding the joint FATF RTMG/Egmont IEWG project on Digital Transformation for AML/CFT purposes. As you know, through case studies and other information, this project will identify the available tools, essential functionalities, favorable conditions and requirements for the digital transformation of AML/CFT and for improving AML/CFT capability and effectiveness, including within existing models or workstreams.
Ultimately, the guidance should help operational agencies in introducing or incorporating technology into their workstreams, allowing a better understanding of ML/TF risks and emerging trends, early detection and disruption of ML/TF activities, as well as a seamless and secure information exchange among operational agencies within the public sector or with the private sector.
Based on the information mentioned above, we would like to ask for your assistance in completing the attached questionnaire. Please return it by Friday, May 14th at the latest to Nedko.krumov@egmont.org
Please bear in mind that since the project is conducted jointly with the FATF, all information provided through the questionnaire will be shared with the FATF.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Kind regards,
EGS
