Dear Colleagues,
The Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units (EG) is pleased to invite you to attend the Egmont Group’s Securing an FIU (SEC-FIU) Train-The Trainer Courses that will be delivered from December 3 to 7, 2018 (tbc) in Taipei, Taiwan and hosted by Anti-Money
Laundering Division (AMLD), Taiwan.
The FIU-SEC course is based on the security operational guidance developed by the Egmont Group – former IT Working Group and focuses on providing participants with best practices in developing and implementing security policies and procedures in the areas
of physical, personnel, document, and information security, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations. For basic understanding of the FIU-SEC course, please refer to the ANNEX 1.
It is my sincere hope that these courses will assist you in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
For the purpose of fostering trainers pool of FIU-SEC course, participants will be selected from every region and their participation will be
fully funded by US- INL fund and AMLD Taiwan fund. Ideally, participants should be available to train subsequent FIU-SEC course or provide technical assistance on security of FIUs in the following years.
