We hope your 2020 is off to a good start!
During the Working Group meetings in Mauritius later this month, Egmont members will have again bilateral meeting rooms at their disposal in the Ravenala Hotel to address operational matters.
Prior to the Egmont meetings in Buenos Aires (March 2018), the Egmont Group Secretariat observed that ad hoc bilateral exchanges were often conducted in public areas, while such conversations requiring a more private space. Therefore, bilateral meeting rooms were for the first time available during the meeting in Buenos Aires and subsequently, during the following Egmont meetings in Sydney (September 2018), Jakarta (January 2019) and The Hague (July 2019). Their main purpose is to facilitate the bilateral cooperation between FIUs during the Egmont Group events.
We’d like to remind you that a special template was created to help this exchange (please see attached).
More information about the exact location of the bilateral meeting rooms within the Ravenala Hotel can be found during the meeting in Mauritius itself.
