** Letter to all IEWG Members**


Dear IEWG members,


We are addressing you with regard to the IEWG Typologies on Corruption project. As you are aware, the Set of Indicators for Corruption Related Cases from the FIUs' Perspective is considered to be part of the project. This set of indicators was approved by the IEWG and the HoFIU during the meeting in Sydney (September 2018). Subsequently, the Set was uploaded to the Egmont Group public website (www.egmontgroup.org).

During the meeting in Sydney, the IEWG decided that this will be a "living document" and the project team should take the necessary steps to improve it by collecting feedback from the member FIUs and our partners. We already collected such feedback from the Wolfsberg Group.

With this letter, and on behalf of the project team, we would like to ask for your kind support to provide us with feedback about the usefulness of the Set of Indicators, namely:

  • Did your FIU communicated the Set with the private sector or any competent domestic authorities.
  • If so, what was the feedback from this communication.
  • Do you have specific ideas on how to improve the quality of the indicators included into the Set.
  • Any other feedback regarding the quality of the specific indicators or the list itself.

For your convenience, please find attached the Set of Indicators (as published on the website).

Please provide your feedback by sending an email to nedko.krumov@egmont.org (cc-ing sergey.sarakvashin@egmont.org), no later than April 12th, 2019.

Once we collect all coming feedback, we will amend the Set of Indicators respectively and will include it as an integral part of the IEWG Typologies on Corruption project report.
