Dear Colleagues,
In accordance with current Argentine legislation, on February 26, 2020, the mandate of the authorities of the Argentina's Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF-AR) who had took office in 2016 was terminated.
Therefore, pursuant to such legislation and once the public procedure legally provided for the election of the new FIU representatives was performed, on February 27, 2020, Mr. Carlos Alberto Oscar Cruz and Mrs. Mariana Quevedo took office as President and Vice-President of UIF-AR respectively.

Estimados Colegas,
De acuerdo con la legislación vigente en la República Argentina, el día 26 de febrero de 2020 caducaron las designaciones de las anteriores autoridades de la Unidad de Información Financiera Argentina.
Conforme a esta normativa y una vez sustanciado el procedimiento público previsto para la elección de los nuevos representantes, el día 27 de febrero del corriente año, asumieron sus funciones el Dr. Carlos Alberto Oscar Cruz como presidente de la Unidad de Información Financiera Argentina y la Dra. Mariana Quevedo como vicepresidente de esta.
