Dear colleagues,
I hope this email finds you in good health, indeed.
Anticipating the forthcoming election of the Europe II Regional Representative, I would like to remind you that I have submitted a written nomination expressing desire and suitability to be considered for the post of new Regional Representative, who should finish the mandate of Mr. Philippe Boisbouvier.
I will not repeat the items in my CV, which has been circulated to you, but what would like to highlight, nevertheless, is that I believe my education (BA, MA in Economics, PhD in Political Science), my further specialization throughout my career in the security service (in anti-terrorism, CTF, anti-organised crime), and especially my involvement in the AML/CFT system in Serbia as the Head of FIU, particularly at a time of intensive reforms during the ICRG process (2018-2019) and as we speak, have all given me deep insight into the different roles of our FIUs in the AML/CFT system and how we can best serve our national systems and the global AML/CFT community.
With your assistance, I believe I will also be able to help Europe II FIUs be more visible and active in the Egmont Group, benefiting thereby the overall mission of the Egmont Group.
Therefore, I would like to ask you to support my nomination as the Regional Representative for Europe II.
