Dear Heads of FIUs/Egmont Members,
I hope this email finds you well and healthy.
As you are aware, the Best Egmont Case Award (BECA), has been an important annual activity of the Egmont Group since 2011. Last year, the 2020 BECA Competition was of great success without being interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your contributions and take the opportunity to announce that the Technical Assistance and Training Working Group (TATWG), on behalf of the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units, invites you to enter the 2021 Best Egmont Case Award (BECA) competition, by summiting effective cases.
All Egmont member FIUs are eligible to submit cases and there is no limit as to how many cases your FIU can submit to the BECA Competition. Please find attached the call letter containing the details regarding the guideline and criteria for the mentioned Competition.
You are encouraged to submit cases using the official BECA TEMPLATE as attached.
Please submit your case(s) via the Egmont Secure Web (ESW) to the Egmont Group Secretariat’s general e-mail at secretariat@egmont.org with a copy to Ms. Michelle Ouyang at Michelle.Ouayang@egmont.org by April 26th 2021.
