Dear colleagues,
We trust you are well!
As Regional Representatives, we were approached by the IEWG, kindly asking for assistance to support the “FIU-FinTech Cooperation. Associated cyber-enabled crime typologies and risks” project.
We were informed that the Secretariat has sent a questionnaire and a case study template to all EG members to collect information with the deadline to provide input by mid-April. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline was then extended until the 10th of May 2020. We were told that unfortunately, the number of replies received within the extended deadline is insufficient to guarantee the quality of the final product.
We are very thankful for the input of those EUROPE II members that have already contributed to the project. However, we would like to encourage all other members to reply to the two questionnaires.
We would also like to stress the importance of this project that has, among other objectives, an ambitious goal to measure the level of FIU-FinTech cooperation/reporting across the world.
