Dear Members of the EUROPEII Region,


We hope this email finds you well.


As you may be aware from previous communications, the Egmont Committee is currently conducting strategic discussion on the implementation of the revised SCP. For that purpose, the EC Joint Sub-group leading this effort has requested the regional representatives to reach-out to our regions to get your feedback on 12 Key Issues. The regional representatives have been requested to share your expected feedback during an EC virtual meeting that we will have to address this topic.

Considering the above-mentioned, we will appreciate your feedback to the attached list of Key Issues by next Friday 30 April (COB Ottawa), by replying to this ESW email, or by sending your replies directly via ESW to gonzalo.alvarado@egmont.org and sorin.gabor@egmont.org

For that purpose, please note that:

  • You don’t need to provide feedback to all 12 key issues. Your comments to specific Key Issues you feel you have more to contribute to will suffice.
  •  You can use as a reference the attached Memorandum prepared by the EGS, addressing the situation related to the implementation of the SCP.
