Subject: Urgent Supplemental Request in the Matter of Beny Steinmetz
Dear Anca and Marius,
Please find attached our Urgent Request for Legal Assistance in the Beny Steinmetz Matter. The Request arises out of coordination between the Israel Police
and the Romanian law enforcement authorities including with Marius.
The primary purpose of the Supplemental Request is to allow the questioning of certain additional witnesses
during the planned visit of our investigators in connection with our Original Request in mid-October. As you know, Marius advised sending a Supplemental Request to cover these additional witnesses. The Supplemental Request seeks other documentary assistance.
We are aware that the final scheduling of witnesses and other activities will depend on coordination meetings in Romania in connection with the visit of our investigators in October.
We are out of the Office for a Holiday period all next week and will return on October 2d. The Supplemental Request will be couriered to you immediately
