It says the complaint was filed in the Nazareth District Court.
According to the article, in the law suit the complainants claim:
1.
The state’s failure to demolish the illegal settlement outposts, such as the one in the area from which the alleged attackers came, constituted “criminal negligence” that led
to the attack.
2.
That Israel created a hothouse and place for groups of lawbreakers to plan and prepare to carry out hate crimes against the Palestinian residents of the area.
3.
The suit also accuses Israel of not taking action against acts of violence and incitement to violence by the settlers, thus allowing for the arson attack.
The article goes on to say that the family was denied compensation from the ministry of defense because they are not citizens or residents of Israel and
attorney general Yehuda Weinstein rejected a request to recognize him as a terrorist victim. There was also an opportunity to submit a request to an inter-ministerial committee for compensation but they did not submit a request.
The article also presents a discrepancy as to whether the ministry paid for the hospitalization or the family was billed.
It is also mentioned that two people were indicted for the attack, one on murder charges and the other as an accomplice.
